Regulatory compliance affects every area of senior care. IGH Health Services provides complete compliance support for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Our experts will review your operational systems, policies and procedures to discover opportunities for improvement. Then we will provide you with the tools you need to achieve a level of performance that exceeds regulatory requirements and provides the greatest level of resident care.

This service is included in all management contracts, but is also available on a case-by-case basis for otherwise well managed facilities. The following services can be made available on an a la carte basis at highly competitive rates.

Policies & Procedures
In managing for compliance and excellence in quality of care, the first line of defense is a solid set of Policies & Procedures tailored specifically for your operational and clinical environment. IGH Health Services will review your existing Policies & Procedures, ensuring they address every area of the facility including: Nursing, Pharmacy, HIPAA, Maintenance, and Dietary, et al. They will recommend updates as necessary, and can write custom P&Ps as needed.

Mock Survey
Our Mock Survey helps to prepare your facility for survey by CMS or ADPH. IGH Health Services will identify possible deficiencies within your facility based on regulations and your own Policies & Procedures, and recommend solutions for correction. Once the Mock Survey is complete, we will conduct a full exit interview to review our findings with key personnel, and provide a written report of the survey and our recommendations.

Plans of Correction
Anytime a facility receives a deficiency during Survey, the facility must provide an individual Plan of Correction to address the cited deficiency, including implementation, education, monitoring, and specific responsibilities.  We recommend a similar Plan of Correction be written for any issues identified during a Mock Survey. IGH can help you draft these Plans of Correction.

IGH can help you draft Plans of Correction following an actual or a mock survey. We can then assist with implementation, including ongoing onsite consulting to ensure the plan is effective, provide necessary continuing education, and identify any new problems.

POC Implementation
When a facility successfully submits a Plan of Correction following an actual or a mock survey, IGH Health Services is available to assist in plan implementation, including writing internal Policies & Procedures, establishing or revising operational processes and systems, and providing staff in-servicing to specifically address the problem(s) identified in the Plan of Correction. We will also provide a plan for ongoing review to ensure the POC has been fully implemented, and to provide for continuous quality improvement.
